Inspiration: I never thought you'd ask! A ZPM, or Zero Point Module, is an Ancient Power Source that "derives its enormous power from vacuum energy, derived from a self-contained region of subspace time, and has a potential life of many millions of years." DUH! (Just kidding) It is required for one to be able to gate to another galaxy and 3 are needed to fully run the city of Atlantis. Trust me, only a police public call box will get you farther. Anywho...why Zed-PM if it's a ZPM, you ask? Well, our favourite Canadian scientist, Doctor Rodney McKay of the Pegasus Expedition ALWAYS says it that way. Why? Because, don't we all say it that way?
   I suppose I could have picked another name for the site, but I LOVE Stargate, and what better way to pay hommage, eh? This ones for you Rod. ;)
